Georges Marcellus Jr. is the Founder and CEO of Dorpare, a Mid-Atlantic based manufacturer
of loose ginger based teas. Georges started his professional career in the healthcare industry in
various technology roles. In most recent years Georges professional career has been spent
within management consulting and asset management in the financial sector with an emphasis
on data analytics.
The idea for Dorpare Tea was conceived in a Baltimore row house. The Marcellus Brothers
embrace their Haitian Culture and roots, the blue collar work ethic of the Charm City (Baltimore)
where they live and the multinational diversity of the Nation's Capital, where the company is
based and the Ginger Tea product is made. Dorpare’s mission is to create a craft ginger tea
beverage in a consistent serving size which is spicy, yet refreshing. By incorporating natural fruit
flavors, Dorpare has been able to put a twist on the taste of the ginger root which the Marcellus
